The Lions Clubs of Missouri have given their volunteer and financial support to the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation’s sight-saving programs since our inception in 1960. The Lions' long-standing commitment to preserving and restoring the sight of people throughout Missouri and around the world is immeasurable. We're proud to be the “State Sight Project” of the extraordinary men and women involved in the Missouri Lions.
Lions Involvement
Here are some ideas on how your Lions Club can help further the Foundation in your community:
- Hold a special fundraising activity and donate the proceeds to the Foundation.
- Contact the Foundation to request a speaker for a program meeting and learn more about our mission.
- Continue to collect eyeglasses for our Eyeglass Recycling Program.
- Volunteer to assist us with Children's Vision and Healthy Vision screenings or our organ and tissue drives.
- Sign up to receive the Sightlines e-newsletter below to keep your club updated about the latest news at the Foundation.
- View our program statistics for your Lions District, updated on a monthly basis.
