Each year hundreds of Missouri residents lose sight because they cannot afford to treat their vision problem. These individuals are just over the poverty level and do not qualify for government assistance and cannot afford insurance. In these cases, if a vision problem occurs and the inflicted person cannot afford treatment they may have irreversible damage to their eyesight.
The Foundation does not want these Missourians to have to suffer from vision loss because they are unable to afford medical treatment.
The Eye Care Assistance program
was designed to cover the eye care costs of indigent
Missourians who fit the eligibility criteria. For
more information about the program’s
requirements and to obtain an application contact
our eye care coordinator at 1-800-753-2265 or via
the form below.
