Children's Vision Screening
The Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation offers free vision screenings at daycares, preschools and community events in the hopes of detecting the 5% of children who have amblyopia, also called lazy eye.

Eye Care Assistance
Thousands of Missourians are faced with losing their eyesight simply because they cannot afford treatment for their vision conditions. The Eye Care Assistance program aids indigent Missourians by covering the costs of many eye related medical procedures.

Eyeglass Recycling
The Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation supports the Lions' dedication to eyeglass recycling by serving as a collection and distribution center for recycled eyeglasses that can save the sight of thousands overseas.

  

 
Healthy Vision Screening
Glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) are leading causes of preventable blindness in the United States. The Foundation offers free preliminary screenings for glaucoma and AMD at businesses, health screenings and community events throughout the state.

Heartland Lions Eye Banks
The Eye Bank retrieves, processes and distributes the highest quality donor eye tissue to corneal surgeons and their patients. By registering as an eye, organ and tissue donor in your state, you have the power to give the sight through eye donation.

Support of Ocular Research
The Foundation is dedicated to providing eye tissue to research projects that work to determine the causes of eye disease and to find cures for these debilating conditions.
